For one thing, the two seasons are really different from each other in a number of ways. And for another, with both UFO and Space: 1999, the design aspects and "look" of the show were (at least) half of the fun. I can't imagine that a revival could recapture that.

You'd have seen better science in an episode of The Flintstones!

Gerry Anderson shows were always VERY weak on science (I guess he didn't do so good in science at school, but was pretty good at the technical drawing and design!). People, like myself, who were "into" more scientific accuracy, were often exasperated by this, but I still watched the Anderson shows because they looked so gorgeous. UFO was always my favourite, but Space: 1999 was a close second.

Some people use them as online diaries or journals (like you, I don't find myself interesting enough to write this detailed diary kind of thing). Others use them to do reviews and recommendations. And others use them to write about sci-fi or any other fannish or geek obsessions that they have.

There are no strict rules or limits. If you want to write about nothing but Star Trek, then that's fine. Just write what you want to write.

I'm looking forward to seeing your stories in Creative Endeavors. I've always enjoyed good fan fiction. Sometimes more than the official releases.
